By land and by river

Boat ride from Charity to Adel's, where we stayed. Just off a creek which is off of the Pomeroon River- in Essequibo. This is the way you travel around these parts, by boat. Homes were off of the waterways and people travel by little canoes, or speed boat, anywhere they need to go. It was so interesting to see.
Waiting to leave Charity and head to a little lodge-type place we stayed for 2 nights, it is on a creek, off a river. Only accessible by boat.
Rice fields! So beautiful. On the drive from Supinam to Charity- the scenery at times was like nothing I had ever seen before, it almost looked prehistoric. To get to the place we were traveling to, we took 2 different cars and 2 different boats. It was quite far from Georgetown, more so in accessibility than distance, due to the remoteness of this country. See above photos from journey.
